On Monday, 24th November, the Saint Lucia Christian Council invited the Political Parties participating in the upcoming General Elections to sign a code of conduct. The Signing took place at the Benedictine Monastery, Mount of Prayer, Coubaril, Castries. The Signing of the Agreement and Declaration on Political Conduct in the Archdiocese of Castries, St. Lucia, represents a significant commitment to fostering ethical behaviour, responsible leadership, and respectful engagement within the national political landscape. The ceremony brought together key representatives who publicly affirmed their dedication to upholding principles that strengthen democratic integrity and build public trust.
Participants endorsed the agreement in the presence of witnesses, underscoring the gravity of their commitment and the accountability attached to their pledge.
